I remember reading somewhere that shark skin is basically teeth instead of scales.

If a shark slapped you, would it technically count as a bite?

Well, it only hurts if you rub shark skin tail to nose. Nose to tail, it's not any more dangerous than other fish.

Though I don't think it counts as a bite.
