Both Mt. SAC and Fullerton have groups that use 'Campus Crusade for Christ." Though the Mt. SAC group seemed significantly more incompetent in the advertising component and just made the Muslim groups signs look better on account of the Christians' signs looking lousy (I haven't seen any signs championing Judaism, Buddhism, or Hinduism on campus).

I think this is in bad taste/sense (though it does have some lovely alliteration...) since I can't think of the word "crusade" and Christianity without thinking of the Crusades (and probably Assassin's Creed) I wouldn't call the Crusades a good point in history for giving the impression that Christians aren't stupid and/or mean and/or zealots who will fuck you up for disagreeing with them.

I am soooooo proud of my fellow christains. Way to use a series of bloody, horrible wars CAUSED by our religion as a way to recruit followers.

I've been running into a ton of Campus Crusade people. I remember last week when everyone was moving in, someone came by our dorms and told everyone that there was a cookout going on. We all walked down (a good several blocks of hills) and when we got there, a bunch of the Campus Crusade people ambushed us and were like "Join our bible study group! Fill out this survey!" It was a bit of a bait and switch if you ask me, although I did eventually get a hot dog... it was bit undercooked but it was free...

The weirdest bait and switch I've ever seen relevant to Christianity was:

Guy: Do you take the bus?
Me: I carpool
Guy: Have a Bible!

I'm not sure what Insane Troll Logic was involved...

>_> I'll do anything for free food. Like intensely boring floor meetings for root beer floats. I don't see why we need so many meetings if all of them are "don't do drugs in your room" and the common sense stuff you'd be a little dense to do in the first place.

They truly are everywhere (Campus Crusade that is) I still find it cute [annoying] how Christians act like they are discriminated against and still being thrown into lion pits.

Well, some of them make it damn tempting to throw them into lion pits... But alas I am short one pit and short one lion.

Would it be bad if you asked them if they called questions "inquisitions"?

Then I'd be too tempted to pop out of the bushes screaming "NO ONE EXPECTS THE SPANISH INQUISITION!"

I only regret not bringing that up when talking to one of the 'crusaders' at a free cookout.

Odd I can't think of anything to say that isn't insulting, though not towards highly religious(includes fundamentalists and fanatics) as you can't be too insulting towards them but the other groups might get insulted for being included with them.
